The Rose Cottage Inn offered fine countryside views.

The room we stayed in was a bit too small for our preference, a little cramped during our two-night stay.

Had perfect 10/10 2 nights here. Well-equipped and modern units with a double bed, great views, for example, and the staff were really helpful. Dinner and breakfast food was good. Liked our stay in this hotel.

    beautiful rural surroundings
    unreliable internet

We had an amazing three-night stay surrounded by scenic countryside views, perfect for our trekking adventures. The accommodations were immaculate and provided a warm, cozy atmosphere. It was a delight to relax in the charming garden that offered magnificent views over the open countryside. The hosts were cute and recommended some fantastic local attractions that we enjoyed visiting together.

The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally unreliable, which hindered our ability to stay connected and plan our next day's trek.

The view from the balcony was canny lush, looking over the sea and countryside. Val was proper friendly and helpful too. Only downside was no obvious recycling bin. Would definitely recommend for a spot of relaxation!

    Nice
    6.0

The unique loft-style accommodations added a quirky charm to the stay. It's in a beautiful rural area, perfect for those wanting to immerse themselves in fine countryside views and enjoy some excellent walking routes.

The room was cramped, leaving little space to maneuver, especially next to the bed. The mattress was notably hard. The Wi-Fi connection was spotty, which posed a significant inconvenience. There were also challenges in finding the inn due to misleading postcode directions, and the lack of meal provisions meant trips to a service station for food were necessary. The shower pressure was weak, detracting from the bathing experience. Lastly, guests could benefit from better instructions for the appliances in the room, as figuring them out took longer than expected.

The Budget Double Room was super cozy and super tidy, giving off this great homey vibe. Loved the comfy bedding and fluffy pillows-perfect for a restful night after a long day. The large bathroom was a nice bonus, and the view overlooking Firle Beacon was just fine! The only downside was that we couldn't was nice, but everything else was great.
